| Why whenever teen girls have babies, instead of preparing for a rough future, they just continue having more? My friends and I know lots of girls who have babies and are teens. What's weirds is, after the girls have their 1st baby, they realize that life will be harder. But instead of preparing for that, they just have sex again and again and make more babies, without thinking that they just made it harder. It's unlikely that rough intercourse caused sex, if it had you would be in severe pain because that means he would have ripped the lining of your vagina, (and any woman's who's ripped after having a baby will tell you that you can defiantly tell that kind of pain). | A few ideas for realistic teen fiction what do you think? okay well i havent started the book yet im just jotting ideas for like the basis of the plot so here are a few i have come up with: Romance with a twist (I dont know what kind of twist yet but i think i have a rough idea of it) relatable to girls- I think this is a biggo one cause all books need to be relatable to the audience so i think the audience will be teen girls so it has to relate to things that they have experienced (any stories girls?) for the characters i was thinking innocent characters like they are shy about sex but they want it (if you get me?) and i definatly need bitchy characters to balance it out. so i want it to be the awkward teen sex kind of book like they're doing it but their parents think they are angels (yeah not sure if i should stick to that kind of idea) And here is like a not set in stone idea but i was thinking it could belike diary entries of the main characters (even the guys) or maybe a made up blog site. Thats kind of like my rough Idea what do you think? comment me some more ideas any i need to take out and some embarrassing stories about fancying sum1 in high school please much love xx |
| I think it sounds interesting, and like something a lot of teen girls would want to read. Regarding diary entries/blog site: Don't make the entire book a diary, or else it can get boring, tedious, and repetitive (in my opinion). Although, I guess it depends on how you write the entries, it could be interesting to see different POVs. But it needs to be more action and dialogue than just 'Dear Diary, I'm feeling sad blah blah blah' because that will get boring. I don't think all your characters should be either innocent or bitchy, you need to have a balance between them. Not everyone in a school fits into those two categories. Make some of them shy and quiet, some artistic, some athletic, some preppy, some punk etc etc. And embarassing stories about crushing on someone: there's always the classic spilling cafeteria food on them, falling in front of them, tripping them, all those cliches. The person that I like is my best friend's brother, which can be interesting in a story beause he's usually off-limits. A bit cliche, but whatever. Maybe they are guyhood friends who dated, broke up, and are seeing other people, but secretly still like each other. There are tons of ideas out there, cliched or not is up to you. | A lot of women have rape fantasies. But I suspect that for your first time you try it easy at first, then as you find you like what is being done, you work into something more aggressive. This has nothing to do with condemning your idea that you'd like to be treated roughly. It's more with the idea of starting an exercise program, you don't want to strain yourself. | Something definitely is wrong. You're 14 and trying to get pregnant. How are you going to pay for the hospital bills and all the things the baby needs? How are you going to be anything more than a drop out? Being a mother is a 24 hour a day job 7 days a week. They don't give you a break to finish school. How are you even going to get to all the doctors appointments when you're not even old enough to drive?
